I think that it will probably be for the best if I close down again, at least online. Because something of lasting value once did arise from this arena, I have been stuck on it and stuck on it and stayed here because it was and is incomparably precious to me. Since then, false starts and premonitions of things that were never realized.

I will still be on AIM for the three people I do talk with in-depth and regularly, but I think I've had my fill of actually going out of my way to talk to new people in this venue.

Offline I continue to have the best of intentions. I will commit to Bradbury's recipe of a thousand words a day come heaven or hell, I will find a volunteer organization that I can force time into and feel somewhat valuable in some peripheral way. I will keep trying for now, because I said I would.

What's a few more years, all things considered? It will all work itself out relatively soon one way or another.
