Waffles are Better Unburnt

The oddest things can bounce you into or out of a slump sometimes. I found out I was getting a $20k a year raise and didn't leave the house for a week except to go to work. Someone I'd hoped would be good to talk to online developed into a jerk as I got to know them better and abruptly I have motivation again.

I'm still here, and still confused by a great many things, but it's looking like I will be okay for awhile.

For now, the garbage is taken out, the dishes are half-done, and I am abruptly tired of being online. Instead, I am going to go and watch kung-fu movies until I fall asleep.

Things will be okay.
